Do Look-In fans consider The World At War a strip or a feature? Yes, for the most part it was drawn as a strip (usually by David Jefferis, who would later do Starcruiser - but I think comic stalwart Mike Western did at least one), but I think there was the occasional instalment which may have been more text with an illustration? Given that it was based around a documentary series, where does opinion lie on this?

The world at war, started as a text feature, but turned into a strip, I think probably because kids found it easier to take in than the text. I'm not sure how popular it was, but it's not like you could cancel the strip, because the story of the war would be unfinished then! I'm sure it had one or two fans though, because another war strip 'Pathfinders' appeared in look in later
