I've been to the British Library today, looking through the 1974 volume, and noticed a large number of undated issues - also unable to include TV listings - due to some kind of 'emergency situation or crisis'.
I know there was a similar period for the TV Times, due (I think) to strikes or the three day week, but does anyone know what exactly the problem was?

Sorry don't remember the problem you talk about, but am interested that you went to British Library, do they carry copies of Looki-In and other comics.
Also can you make copies if they do.

I'm referring to the British Newspaper Library annex at Colindale, and yes they have bound volumes of a number of comics including Look-In.
Photocopies (b/w only, i think) have to be ordered - you can't just do it yourself - and are posted to you within a week or so. I should also add that you can only photocopy one artcle/feature or strip per issue, for copyright reasons.
Colour photos/transparencies or digital scans can also be ordered, but these are significantly more expensive than the photocopies.
