Are we able to upload avatars to the forum - I've tried a few times, following the guidelines, without success.
Or could the moderators supply a gallery?

Hi Shaqui! I've been trying to upload my own avatar today and have hit a problem myself. The board doesn't seem to want to upload from my PC or pick an avatar from a gallery. It's most strange! I am looking into it and will hopefully sort out the problem soon...

Yes, I've been trying to get the avatars working with phpBB2 but, for the life of me, can't seem to do it! But, as you say, linking to an external website does work.

Now that we've sussed-out how to get the avatars working at least one way (by linking to an external website), how about everyone on the forums comes up with their own pretty avatar to spruce things up a bit...? I challenge you all...

I uploaded a couple of test graphics to the specified folder on the server and then tried it for myself with no luck unfortunately. There is a slightly-newer version of phpBB2 which could be installed but, to be honest, I doubt it would solve the problem. So, I'm still workking on it...
