OK, trying to raise the game interest here... what do fellow fans feel would be 'Look-In' today, if it had not gone down the IPC route and had a comparable content to its classic 1970s and early 1980s era?

Cool

I think it would be pretty much the standard of today, a pop/soap mag with very little in the way of strips. Comics arn't as popular as in the 70's, and in any case the programmes they put out today are very much suited to the Marvel/DC way of producing comics, so your left with a 'My parents are aliens' picture strip...I think not! In a way I'm glad Look-in is finished, I t would'nt be the same. At least we've got the memories.......

John.

If Look-In were resurrected today, I don't think it could just feature comic strips from ITV alone, it would have to broaden its outlook and source the best TV shows from across the terrestrial and satellite spectrum. Personally, I think it could be done with 5 or 6 good choices, though most of the strips would probably end up being US adapations of great action/adventure shows most likely. The rest of the mag would be taken up, as it has always been, with features based on the latest movies, pop stars, etc.
