Oops - major faux pas with the icon for the 1974 cover gallery John. You've got a Space:1999 cover, which was actually dated Sept 13 1975...

Eagle-eyed as ever Shaq! I have a few icons done for future updates, I picked the wrong one by mistake....!!
It's sorted now,
John.

Good choice John... btw I was at the British Library looking at that year last weekend, and that cover is by Arnaldo Putzu as well apparently, not John Geary as I previously thought. You might want to amend the gallery notation for that...
Funny thing is, I do wonder if the credits on the inside cover are 100% accurate - I've have put money the cover of issue 1 for 1973 is Arthur Ranson, but it still credits Arnaldo...

I was (and still am) a really big Sweet fan, and that is probably one of the best covers of that year.
I've just noticed another mistake, the Sid James cover you talk about I have as No.1 in 73 and 74, I'm pretty sure it's dated december 73, which would make it part of the 74 run, could you confirm this? and do you have the No.1 for 1973?
and I agree with you it does look very much like Arthur's work.
John.

Yes you're right - I thought I did point that out among the notes I did for that gallery but I may have missed it.

Sorry I don't, except as a 'next week' b/w picture in the previous issue.

It will do as a stop gap, can you scan it and send it to me?
Thanks,
John.
