John Freeman has reported on the Yahoo 'Dan Dare' group that artist Phil Gascoine has died after a short illness, aged 73.

Phil was one of the 'latter day' artists of the 80s, drawing 'Robin of Sherwood' for a period, and also (I believe) 'Knight Rider', possibly covering for his fellow friend and artist Barrie Mitchell.

Another sad day. Sad

John Freeman has an interview with Phil Gascoine on his comic website 'Down The Tubes' (which I can highly recommend in general):

Cool
